Our garden offers many nooks and turns of surprises with its many stepped levels. In addition to a custom-built barbecue porch for a professional grill, you may find your playful self again with our signature playground objects rescued from the garbage dump.

In collaboration with Loretta, our "Player-in-Residence" who is a specialist of the Bruno Munari Method ®, we offer bespoke activities and workshops for guests of all ages to deeply experience the beauty of Pico through play and creativity.
Roots
The host family of the Lourenços goes back generations on the Island of Pico.
The street on which the Casas are located is named Rua dos Lourenços.
For some years, the site where the Casas now stand was in ruins.
It took the family three long years to painstaking restore the site into what the Casas presently are, in order to welcome guests visiting our beloved Island of Pico.
