We are a collective living amongst a 36 hectare forest in Southwestern Algarve, Portugal. At Corte Medronheira we seek to deepen our relationship with the landscape by interweaving presence, (ir)reverence and integrity.
We are prioritising connection work to align our livelihoods with the rhythms and wisdom of the land, co-operating to cultivate resilience.

I work with collaborative governance and self-organisation practices as a way to contribute to collective resilience and social justice. Living in kinship with all beings in this forest allows me to grow deeper into regenerative ways of living within modernity. Medronheira allows me to walk the walk, fail and learn, embody the change.

Bringing into life learning experiences for all ages and backgrounds, my motivation is to connect people with land, biodiversity, and natural materials. My daily commitment is to focus on what needs to be learned and unlearned for regenerating eco-social systems. Corte Medronheira represents my hopes for our future, aiming to contribute thoughtfully by storing water, stories, and seeds.

I grew up here between the ocean and forests, loving the land and its species. I focus on learning how to belong to ecosystems, enhancing regeneration, storing water, protecting wild areas, increasing tree diversity, and implementing fire prevention strategies. Social cooperation is vital for fostering both collective well-being and personal growth.

I am a nature and wildlife lover focused on living harmoniously with the landscape. Using my background in landscape architecture, I create Regenerative Mainframe designs that integrate human activities with nature through regenerative agriculture, ecosystem restoration, and water-wise practices, aiming to sustain communities and protect ecosystems.
